About us

The “Armenian Center for Society Research” Fund is an independent non-for-profit organization operating as a think tank. We aim at promoting progressive ideas in various spheres by means of research, discussions, publications, and comments by our experts. The “Armenian Center for Society Research” Fund is a platform for dialogue on urgent topics of interest to decision-makers in politics and the economy, for whom it is important to understand and take into account the opinion of the expert community.

The Fund is an organization that was crystallized on the basis of a methodological movement that was supported by the Fund’s leader Tigran Sargsyan during the last 20 years and was based on, but not limited to, the ideas of Georgy Shchedrovitsky, the Russian philosopher and methodological intellectual of the Moscow Methodological Circle.

Our Mission:
The Fund’s mission is to generate practical solutions in response to the global challenges faced by Armenia, the Armenian World, and the integration unions in which Armenia participates or with which Armenia cooperates.

The Fund conducts research on urgent topics, publishes reports, and organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences. A primary focus of the Fund’s activities is on focusing the attention of politicians that make decisions on the problems that hinder development in key areas of public life, as well as supporting projects the implementation of which could help the achievement of the goals set. Our activities are aimed at understanding the future, identifying the main trends and new opportunities for decision making, and elaborating recommendations on concrete topics.

Agenda: The Fund monitors the ontological transformation encountered by anyone who affects the public process, analyzes the challenges of the 21st century, and generates a relevant agenda in politics and the economy for the short, medium, and long terms. Deliberations by the Fund’s Board of Trustees have identified three primary areas for research—integration, the Armenian World, and education. Further details on each area are presented in the following sections of the website.
